Welcome to 1lessjob. We will do our best to make this site as easy and user friendly as possible, we welcome input! Please treat others with respect and courtesy. We respect your privacy and will not sell your personal details. This site is provided as an ‘as is’ service we are not responsible for any of the work contracted for through the site. We cannot and will not be held responsible for any damage or loss that occurs through the use of this site. Don’t post any obscene comments or images.
Contracts (i.e. when you accept a quote or accept the work) made through the site are between the two parties (i.e. the person looking for the job and the one providing it) and, because it forms a written contract between you is a legal document. As such, it means that you agree to provide the work at the specified amount or you agree to pay the specified amount once the work has been done.

You, your, user, trader, service provider, provider, worker, employer, employee, contractor all refer to the entities using the website.
We respect your privacy and will not sell your personal details.
We aim to provide you with the easiest way to find work or workers for any project.
Membership is void where prohibited.
By becoming a member you are certifying that you are of legal age to enter into a binding contract. The default minimum age is 16. You will only have one profile on this site, multiple accounts will result in deletion.
By using this website you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions, these changes will be posted here. There is no liability, recourse, provision or responsibility of the website to maintain, modify, or ensure service.
You agree to provide complete, current and accurate contact details.
You are responsible for all activities that occur through your account.
You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
All content provided by the owners on the site is the intellectual property of the site and its owners and all rights are reserved. We reserve the right to modify, remove or otherwise change the site. Images, pages, logos and designs cannot be used to imply our involvement or endorsement of you and/or your business.
You agree to post jobs in appropriate categories and that the job does not violate any law.
By posting a quote you confirm that you are able to do the work specified and within a reasonable time frame, if you are chosen for the job then this will form a binding contract between you and the employer.
Upon job award you agree to perform the work in the stated time to the best of your ability and for the fee agreed.
By posting a job you confirm an interest in receiving quotes for the work specified. Should one of these quotes be chosen by you then you agree to pay the fee specified to the contractor in return for the service. You agree to engage the contractor through 1lessjob.com.

You will not harvest email or other contact details from the site or set up facilities to do so.
You will not use the site in an unlawful manner or in a manner that endangers the site or its owners.
You will not impersonate others on the site.
You will not spam post.
You will not upload viruses, obscene content, or other harmful content or content that would cause harm.
You are solely responsible for your interaction with other users on the site. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to arbitrate/monitor disputes.
Advertisements
To support the site there will be advertisements, we are not responsible for the content of these adverts and cannot be held responsible for any loss/damage arising. We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. Fees
There are no fees to join, post or accept a job. If this has to change we will notify you in writing to your registered email address and you will be given the option to remove your details. There will be no backdating of fees. We may provide premium services at a fee, you will be notified before engaging these services. Paypal credit to the site has a gateway fee of 3.6% + 0.20 to cover the charge made by Paypal so that the trader (or your account) receives the quoted amount.

Governing law
By visiting and/or using the site, you agree to the law of Scotland governing the agreement, terms and conditions.
